Operations Manager, OTRは、担当地域体での新しい配送モデルを開発、管理することが求められます。また、ラストマイル（最終拠点からエンドユーザーへの物流サービス）のオペレーション・チームの一員として、お客様へのラストマイル配送に関する様々な手法を開発し、長期的な配送能力を構築していきます。

Amazon is looking for an operation manager to be responsible for innovating a new business model for the Amazon Logistics (AMZL) team in Japan. AMZL's goal is to build world-class operations in the last mile, the last leg of logistics to deliver packages to customers. Amazon is focusing on providing services that exceed customer expectations by delivering to customers in a faster, more accurate, and more effective manner, and AMZL is rapidly expanding in Japan as well.
Operations Manager, OTR is required to develop and manage new delivery models in responsible regions. Furthermore, as a member of the Last Mile (logistics service from final location to end user) operation team, we will develop various methods related to last mile delivery to customers and build long-term delivery capabilities.
Key job responsibilities
- 業務提携先の配送パートナーと信頼関係を構築し、チャネルや配送拠点毎の担当エリアの配送コスト、配送キャパシティ、配送品質が、ピーク期間を含め、計画通り推移するよう、管理し、顧客体験の向上、ビジネスの拡大に貢献する。
- 担当地域での新サービス、ビジネスを実現し、新しい配送チャネルの開発、拡大に貢献する。
- チームマネジメント（人材育成・パフォーマンス管理）

- Build relationships of trust with delivery partners of business partners, manage delivery costs, delivery capacity, and delivery quality in the responsible area for each channel and delivery base so that they change as planned, including peak periods, contributing to improved customer experience and business expansion.
- Realize new services and businesses in responsible regions and contribute to the development and expansion of new delivery channels.
- Team management (human resource development and performance management)

・勤務時間：フレックスタイム制（基本は9:00～18:00ですが業務状況などによってフレキシブルな勤務時間になる場合があります）
・宿泊を伴う国内出張が発生する場合有

Basic Qualifications
- 人・物・金の流れを数値や指標にて管理・向上させる経験3年以上
- 管理職経験（評価、人材育成の経験等）
- プロジェクトマネジメント経験（プロジェクト規模は問わない・多部門横断型プロジェクト等）
- ビジネスレベル（読み書き会話）の日本語力もしくは英語力
- ==================================
- 3+ years experience of managing resources including people, goods, and money
- People management experience (appraisals, career development, etc.)
- Project management experience (cross-functional project, etc. no requirement regarding the size of the project)
- Business level (reading, writing, speaking) Japanese or English
Preferred Qualifications
- 製造・物流・小売において人・物・金の流れを数値や指標にて管理・向上させる経験5年以上
- 間接マネジメント（管理職やチームリーダーを通じたマネジメント）経験、マネージャー/リーダーの育成経験
- 繁忙期に複数名のパート、アルバイトと働いた経験
- 工学、経営、または関連分野の学位やMBA
- 変化する優先順位に対処し、的確な判断を行う能力
- 日本語・英語のバイリンガルスキル

- 5+ years experience of managing resources including people, goods, and money in logistics, manufacturing, or retail industry
- Indirect management experience (manager's manager), experience of developing a managers/team leaders
- Experience deploying multiple part-timers during peak seasons
- Degree in Engineering, Business, or related fields, or MBA
- Ability to make decisions according to changing priorities
- Bilingual speaking Japanese and English
