Automation & Analytics Manager
Job Description
## About the Role
At Uber Eats LatAm, our Automation & Advanced Analytics team is passionate about bridging the gap between business needs and data science. We’re focused on developing a unique skill set—translating business challenges into data-driven solutions—and collaborating across a wide range of teams to support some of the region's most strategic priorities.
As an Operations Manager (Automation & Analytics), you’ll play a key role in shaping and optimizing the processes that connect our three-sided marketplace of Eaters, Couriers, and Restaurants. This is a high-impact role where you’ll blend technical skills, strategic thinking, and collaborative project management to deliver solutions that scale.
You'll be part of the Delivery LatAm Central Operations team, leading and contributing to projects alongside regional, sub-regional, and local operations partners.
## **What You'll Do**
- Design, implement, and oversee automation solutions to scale both new and existing processes—always with an eye toward efficiency and growth
- Leverage advanced analytics and business intelligence to uncover patterns, surface new opportunities, and challenge the status quo
- Prioritize and drive projects with clear goals, realistic timelines, and strong stakeholder coordination
- Partner with cross-functional teams to identify new features that enhance the experience for Eaters, Couriers, and Restaurants
- Act as an operational liaison with Product and Engineering teams, helping standardize and scale processes across global markets
- Ensure reliability and transparency in all active processes within the team's portfolio
## **What You'll Need**
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in similar roles, fast-paced environments such as startups, strategy, operations, or analytics
- Strong programming skills in scripting languages, with proficiency in SQL and Python; experience with optimization methods is a plus
- Professional proficiency in English
- A problem-solver mindset—able to think scientifically, connect data to business decisions, and navigate ambiguity
- A proactive, flexible, and collaborative approach to evolving priorities
- Clear and effective communication skills, able to engage with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Experience building scalable solutions with potential for integration across multiple systems or frameworks
## **Bonus Points**
- Experience with machine learning
- Familiarity with optimization models (e.g., classifiers, regressions, forecasting) for both deterministic and stochastic scenarios
- A self-starter attitude with a curiosity-driven mindset—comfortable tackling problems that don’t yet have a solution

We welcome people from all backgrounds who seek the opportunity to help build a future where everyone and everything can move independently. If you have the curiosity, passion, and collaborative spirit, work with us, and let’s move the world forward, together.
