Join Amazon’s Leave and Disability Services team and help make a difference for all Amazonians! We are recruiting for a Leave Experience & Technology Administrator. This position specializes in benefits administration as part of the employee life cycle in the Latin American region. The work focuses on managing contacts in HR systems from various contacts, including HR, Payroll, Managers, Providers and Employees. As a member of the team, you are also responsible for providing training and communication to Amazon employees to build consistency and encourage self-service. Become a part of our Employee Services team and work one-on-one with employees while maintaining successful partnerships to provide an excellent employee experience. The ideal person will be organized, work effectively with internal and external contacts, have the ability to process large volumes of knowledge, understand complex policies and apply them to employee situations. The successful candidate will have exceptional communication and organizational skills, superior attention to detail and the ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment. The person must also possess strong analytical and critical thinking skills, along with the customer service focus that the world associates with and expects from Amazon.

Key job responsibilities
• Employee case management (SIM-T/USC/mailbox)
• Process reimbursement benefit adjudication
• Process manual enrollment/withdrawal
• Process vendor & payroll reporting
• Perform audits and control checks
• Demonstrate Bias for action by timely completing the assigned benefits processes with 100% accuracy.
• Demonstrate Customer obsession by addressing employee queries received via email or tickets with SLA and provide accurate resolution to employee issue.
• Demonstrate Ownership by highlighting any potential risk issues and challenges that may cause impact to our employees.
• Demonstrate Ownership by reviewing process documentation and making updates on a regular basis.
• Provide required support to SME/Team Manager for Dive deep into data and benefits stats reporting.
• Liaise with internal (support teams like Payroll, Employee resource center, Exits, Onboarding team etc.) and external stake holders (Insurance vendors) for resolving employee queries and complete administrative processes.
• Complete other duties as assigned.

Basic Qualifications


• 3+ years of human resources experience
• Experience in providing consultation and guidance on leave of absence, human resources, benefits, or complex employee matters
• Experience with HR processes and systems
• Speak, write, and read fluently in English
• Experience with MS Outlook, Excel, SharePoint, Amazon Projects, Word, Slack and Chime

Preferred Qualifications


• Experience managing confidential and sensitive employee information and adherence to strict confidentiality standards
• Experience with process improvement and stakeholder management
• Speak, write, and read fluently in Portuguese
