Job Description
Shift Manager Jr is the support for the internal operations within a delivery station. The role is responsible for managing a +20 hourly team, safety metrics, shifts, vacations, overtime and the AMZL OPS metrics; sort efficiency, package throughput rate, and sort compliance.

The impacts of this position are: Operational KPIs and goals in the station´s strategic plan. Coach the Associates team (hourly) to ensure that performance objectives are met and building positive employee relations and bench strength for the organization. Continuously improve the efficiency of sortation and staging processes and instill a culture of customer obsession, safety, and best-practice sharing.

This role is fully onsite and requires flexibility to work and rotate shifts: weekends, holidays, and/or overnight shifts, and Ability to work overtime both in peak season and as needed.

Key job responsibilities
Ensure team execution to accomplish business goals, focusing on KPIs within his shift such as sort efficiency, package throughput rate, and sort compliance.

Support process improvement activities to address inefficiencies in day-to-day operations, implementing changes to better serve Amazon customers and reduce costs.

Oversee and optimize internal delivery station workflows, including inbound, sortation, and outbound processes, in accordance with standard work.

Manage and develop the hourly associate team, balancing productivity with a positive work environment, and ensuring performance objectives are met.

Maintain a strong focus on safety, ensuring compliance with all safety protocols and fostering a culture of customer obsession and continuous improvement.

Basic Qualifications


- Completed High school diploma
- Availability to work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays
- Basic English (A2)
- +2 years of previous experience
- +1 year as people manager

Preferred Qualifications


- Completed Bachelor degree
- English Advanced
- +3 years of previous experience
- Lean manufacturing Tools
