You will be joining our Marketing team, whose mission is to ensure the best customer journey throughout the purchasing funnel, from product discovery to consideration and purchase. Our team supports this mission by working with various traffic-driving channels, providing data-driven insights to the Books organization, and driving actions to optimize the customer experience on each of these channels.
We are looking for an experienced Paid Media marketing professional to help drive worldwide customer acquisition through our Display and Paid Social channels. This role will own execution of experimentation for Books and eBooks through core Paid Media channels. They will collaborate with Category Marketing Manager on full funnel media plan and execution including GTMs and content marketing campaigns. This person will build and manage the execution of highly impactful acquisition campaigns, and test into white space opportunities. An entrepreneurial spirit, a creative mindset for pushing boundaries, and the ability to work effectively with a large number of partners and international stakeholders are some of the key skills we are looking for. This person will also responsible for Social Media strategy.
Key job responsibilities
- Paid media campaign management: manage paid media planning process for Audience Development campaigns; oversee campaign briefs, channel instrumentation, and reporting.
- External agency management: manage external media agency on campaign execution. Be the primary media agency contact to manage end-to-end campaigns, budget, billing, and more.
- Creative trafficking: manage the creative trafficking process; ensure correct assets are produced and handed off to execution teams.
- Tracking and measurement: Instrument appropriate tracking for all campaigns; create and implement links/ref-tags for all campaigns;
- Standardize campaign tracking and reporting; work directly with data science teams to ensure campaigns are appropriately mapped for attribution;
- Reporting: create post-mortem process and reports at both campaign, program, and quarterly-level. Aggregate, clean, and model campaign data from various data sources; synthesize campaign learnings from large datasets. Create operating procedure to ensure post-mortems occur on time;
- Drive paid advertising initiatives via Display, App Marketing and Paid Social channels to drive WW customer acquisition for Books.;
- Understand and create customer segmentation, cohorts and testing plans to optimize for customer acquisition.
- Administrate Social Media handle for Kindle Brasil focusing on improving customer reach and engagement.
- Collaborate closely with technical, business, finance, creative and design teams within Amazon to manage simultaneous time-sensitive projects.

Basic Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience
- Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements
- Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot tables)
- Experience building and optimizing multiple, simultaneous marketing campaigns
- Experience managing or working within cross-functional marketing and creative teams
- Advanced English Proficiency
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in digital marketing and content production timelines and process
- Experience in multi-territory campaign management
- Experience with brand strategy
- Experience running an SEM program: strong knowledge of bidding strategies, best practices, budget management, executing experiments, and Google Ads
